I just got done speaking with Brandon Paul of Warren. Bruce Weber and the University of Illinois have just offered Paul a scholarship. Paul was just at the school this past Saturday on an unoffical visit. The offer came yesterday in the morning, not on his visit Saturday.
This is the first high major offer for Paul who is a rising prospect, perhaps the fastest in the state. Paul also has a host of other high majors in contact with him including Purdue. He told me that he may be taking an unofficial to the school later in the fall.
