Ryan Hare of Chicago Marshall has verbally committed to Oregon State University of the Pac-10 Conference.  Hare is a top 10 player in the class of 2008 statewide.

The Pac-10 has been very active in the state as of late.  Oregon has already scored recruiting victories by way of verbals from both Michael Dunigan and Matt HumphreyJosh Crittle is set to take an official visit there in the near future.  Michael Stovall, who was Hare’s teammate at Marshall, is in his freshman year at Oregon State.

Marshall has produced a steady flow of Division One players in recent years. Patrick Beverley was the talk of the nation last season as a freshman at Arkansas.  Stovall was an unheralded star in the 2007 class throughout his career; now Darius Smith appears to be taking the same course of his predacessing teammates as he continues to fly under the radar.
