6′5″ Champaign Central guard Donald Stewart has been playing at a very high level this season. The versatile senior is averaging over 20 points (leading scorer) for a strong Central squad who already has a victory of Benedictine who features North Carolina signee, Ed Davis.
6′3″ Southern Illinois-Edwardsville signee Aaron Garriott has had a tremendous start to his senior season. Averaging 20 points and 10 rebounds per contest, he’s led a new Bloomington Central Catholic squad to a 4-1 record, including a win over Bloomington in their first game of the year.
6′10″ Mike Dunigan of Chicago Farragut scored 19 points and pulled down 13 rebounds in their opening game against Chicago Washington which they won by 17.
Fenwick senior John Comfort has committed to Princeton University. The 6′6″ wing is one of the more overlooked players throughout the state.
