Matt Roth of Washington has committed to Indiana. Roth had recently narrowed his list to SLU, Bradley, and Indiana. Then SLU was recently eliminated leaving IU and BU. Bradley is the school that had been recruiting him the longest.
Indiana stepped in late and made him an offer. It appears the appeal of the Big 10 was too much of an opportunity to pass up for Roth.
We have long been promoting Roth as an asset at the high major level and that we did in fact believe he could be a factor in the Big 10.
